KC Carlberg, MPH founded the Na Wahine Sprint Triathlon in 1999. As Hawaii’s first and only all-women’s triathlon, this first event was staged at Ko‘olina Resort but is now annually held at Kapi‘olani Park near the foot of world famous Diamond Head.
Taking her efforts to another level, to better serve the community and further expand the all-women’s racing brand, she partnered with close friend Stephen Pazienza. Together they created a new entity, Na Wahine Racing, LLC. This new venture will focus solely on women’s racing in Hawaii.
Our Story
This September, National Women’s Health month, 300 eager women will gather at the shores of Queen’s Surf Beach in Waikiki. They are mothers, teachers, nurses, presidents of companies, executive directors, realtors, massage therapists, sales reps and more.
