2026 Na Wahine Festival FAQ

Sunday, July 26, 2026:

  • The Na Wahine Sprint Triathlon starts at 6:15 a.m.
  • The Kane Sprint Triathlon starts at 6:45 a.m.
  • The 5K Fun Run starts at 7:15 a.m.

Both triathlon races start at Queen’s Surf and finish at Kapiolani Park.

The 5K Fun Run starts and finishes at Kapiolani Park.

An awards ceremony for the top finishers from each event is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. at the bandstand.

The Na Wahine Sprint Triathlon and Kane Sprint Triathlon start at Queen’s Surf and finish at Kapiolani Park. Both courses take participants along the scenic oceanside of Diamond Head, through parts of the nearby Kahala neighborhood and back to the park.

The Na Wahine 5K Fun Run is a flat course around beautiful Kapiolani Park with views of the ocean.

All racers will receive a commemorative finisher’s medal and official race T-shirt.

All participants can pick up their race packets at BOCA Hawaii during packet pickup. Please see details for packet pickup below:

  • Friday, July 24, 2026, noon-6 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 25, 2026, noon-5 p.m.

You must bring a valid photo ID in order to pick up your race packet. All participants are required to pick up their own packet at the location and during the hours listed above. You are welcome to pick up the packet of a fellow racer with their permission.

The Na Wahine Sprint Triathlon and Kane Sprint Triathlon distances include a 500m swim, 12 mile bike and a 5K run.

The 5K Fun Run is 5 kilometers (or 3.1 miles).

Once a participant completes the race, her or his results will be posted in real time online at PSEresults.com.

The minimum age to participate in either Sprint Triathlons is 14 years old.

There is no minimum age to participate in the 5K Fun Run.

We understand that things happen and that your plans may change after you have already registered for the event. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on registrations. We do offer Vouchers for the following years event or you can transfer your registration to a fellow athlete.
